]]>Dutch-Ukrainian forum for the production and processing of vegetables and fruit was held in the framework of the Dutch working visit to Kherson region headed by Carolien Spaans, Agricultural Counsellor of the Embassy of the Netherlands in Ukraine. The event took place in Nova Kakhovka city at the Premier entertainment centre on 10th of October, 2017.
Main subjects of the forum were: technological aspects of improving the quality and competitiveness of vegetables, fruits and berries production as well as storage technologies, post-harvest handling and processing of these agricultural products. Apart from other topics speakers also highlighted export perspectives and demand formation on Ukrainian market.
Technological session of the forum was opened by Carolien Spaans, Agricultural Counsellor of the Embassy of the Netherlands in Ukraine. In her speech Ms. Spaans mentioned that: “The Netherlands have a high estimation of Kherson region potential and perspectives for the development of new agricultural technologies as well as experience exchange for the purpose of enhancing world markets entry”.
Representatives of Dutch and Ukrainian companies prepared very interesting and meaningful presentations about the general trends of the world market of berries and fruits, the potential of Ukraine and in particular Kherson Oblast in this area, optimization of the production cycle and use of resources, modern technologies in the production and storage of berries, fruits and vegetables.
Ihor Ivanyk, director of RID Logistics Solutions Ukraine, gave a speech on the topic “Organization of control and accounting of fruit and vegetable products based on the application of mobile weighing technology.”
The next day, October 11, a delegation of representatives of Dutch companies visited the enterprises of the region: “Green Team” LLC, Agrotek, “Knyaz Trubetsky Winery”.

]]>On February 16, 2017 in Kiev, more than 250 leading specialists and practitioners of the logistics industry of Ukraine, national and international experts, market operators, transport companies, domestic and international carriers gathered for the central annual business event, traditionally held at the beginning of a new transport season – the VIIth Annual Logistics Innovation Forum 2017 “ADVANCED LOGISTICS! Solutions and innovations for efficient logistics and warehouse management. Cost minimization and efficiency”.
The forum was organized by the Business Summit Company (www.summitbiz.com.ua), a long-term organizer of large-scale national and international business and specialized conferences in key sectors of the economy to solve business operational problems.

]]>In order for agricultural enterprises to be competitive, profitable and economically secure, it is necessary to use modern technologies for monitoring and accounting for weight products when weighing.
Such technologies include mobile weighing, which involves the installation of lifting vehicles equipped with scales, which allows you to determine the weight of the load automatically and transfer the received data directly to the accounting system. This procedure virtually eliminates the influence of the human factor, and also significantly reduces the cost of weight control upon acceptance of goods.
The use of mobile weighing technology in combination with IT at agricultural enterprises makes it possible to optimize other tasks, namely the control of technological operations in production, the dosage of liquids, accounting for grown products, etc.
Taking into consideration that at the enterprises of the agricultural industry, where there is no or partially no integrated approach to organizing the work with weight products, the level of product theft can reach 50%, and the use of modern technologies for monitoring and accounting for weight products is becoming not a trend, but a necessity.
Igor Ivanyk, Director of RID Logistic Solutions Ukraine, spoke in details about the use of practices for working with weighted products, in particular, about the technology of mobile weighing, automatic identification, transmission and processing of data.
